On the second day of Young's three day rehab, National's owner Mark Lerner and his wife attended the game. It turned out to be an exciting night for the Senators who won 3-0 in a shut-out against the Reading Phillies. Coming on in relief of starting pitcher Sharon Martis, Josh pitched two scoreless innings of relief to help lock down the game. He gave up two hits and struck-out three. Fellow reliever Steve Schmoll followed up with two more scoreless innings to finish up the game. Josh was quoted in an article about the game in the local Patriot News. You can read the article here.

Big Leaguers, Big Meals
For the last three days, Josh has eaten like a king, along with the rest of the Harrisburg Senators. Tuesday night was all-you-can eat from Outback. Wednesday night was mounds of shrimp, chicken, scallops, rolls, and who-knows-what all from Carrabba's. And last night the locker room was piled high with food from Texas Road House. All this delicious food was provided by the National's first baseman, Dimitri Young, who was in Harrisburg on a rehab assignment. While it is traditional for rehabbing Big Leaguers to buy the spread for whatever minor league team they are playing for, Young went above and beyond and really treated the guys to some delicious food. Apparently, he is quite a friendly guy and was well liked in the clubhouse.
