The bright sunshine streaming through my window seems an irreverent contrast to the darkness shrouding today. The death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Remembering and meditating on His crucifixion and my sins that nailed Him to the tree is a solemn undertaking. But I know the end of the story. Today is only the beginning. The darkness of the heart is only for a moment. The jubilant rays of this morning are but a foretelling of the light to break forth on Easter Morning.
On this Good Friday, Josh will be with the Nationals' big league team in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The home of the New York Mets. Yesterday, Josh found out that he would going as back-up in the bull pen. We are very excited and thank the Lord for this opportunity. Josh may or may not get to pitch, but we are praising God that he was called on to do this and pray that if Josh goes to the mound, he would be blessed with success.

Dearest Perrault Peeps,
Your transparent telling of the spring training adventure evokes the tearful spilling over of encouragement and support we long to share with you in person! Muppy, remember "A Lantern In Her Hand"? I am that mother, my longings to write are joyfully penned in your own hand--it's so great that your stories are here for us to read again and again, like "Olivia"!!
Let us say once again, we love you a bzillion
walks on a sandy beach! always, yvom xxoo
