Last night, Josh earned his first win of the year. He came in with 1 out in the top of the eighth, the score tied up at 3 and 3 and a runner on second. First pitch was a strike. He checked the runner on second. Set. The pitch. Just outside for a ball. The runner dashed towards third. The catcher was on his feet. He fired the ball to third. As the runner slid into the base, Ofilio Castro made the tag. Just in time. Two outs. Two pitches later, Josh added a strike out to his stats and the inning was over. We scored in the bottom of the eighth, putting us up 4-3. Jim Ed Warden, our closer, finished up with a scoreless ninth, notching his second save of the season and we called it a night.

Thank you, Lord, for another good outing.
