It is 6:45 in the morning. Awefully early for a baseball wife to be up and moving, unless of course she is following the team on a road trip, or moving to a new city because her husband was promoted. In my sleepy, rather stiff and achy case, the second would be true.
Last night after pitching 2 perfect innings in the Senator's 4-1 loss to the Bowie Baysox, Josh's manager John Stearns took him aside and told him he had been promoted to Columbus, the home of the Nationals AAA affliate, the Columbus Clippers. As the Senators are in Annapolis, Josh will fly out of Balitmore this morning in time to be at the field in Columbus this afternoon for the pre-game work outs.
While McKenzie and I had planned to stay in New York until tomorrow, Josh wanted to see us before the Clippers hit the road on Friday for a week. So...McKenzie and I will begin the 6 hour drive from Attica to Columbus around 11 am this morning. We will return to Harrisburg on Friday to pack and say our good-byes and thank-yous.
We are so thankful for this wonderful blessing and are praising God completely for it. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel, look for a new host family, and move our things up from Harrisburg. Also, please join me in prayer that Josh would be able to continue to do his work for the glory of God just as he did in Harrisburg and that the Lord would establish the work of his hands while using us to honor Him.
"I will praise the Lord for all His mighty deeds. I will proclaim His majesty in the sanctuary."
More later...

Hi Stephanie!
I am thrilled for your family. I remember Bob's promotion to AAA (also Columbus - it was the Yankees farm team back then) Is it still Cooper Stadium or have they built a new one? We were there parts of 3 separate seasons and each time lived in a different part of the city (East, North, & West). We're cheering you guys on from California! Covering you in love & prayers - Pam & family
Dearest Perrault Peeps,
If passports were used to log in the different cities you all have baseballed in so far, your pages would be stuffed to the rafters!!!
Now you can see where Dede was born and where Nana & Gramps went to college!! You all are honorary Buckeyes now!! We are so thrilled for you all and so proud of you, too!
We love you to the moon and back!
