Big League Camp

Today was Josh's first day of big league camp. Here are the main differences from minor league camp:

Delicious food...for breakfast he had blueberry pancakes and after practice he had mahi mahi. Sorry about that! McKenzie and I were chugging away with our PB&J. Needless to say, I'm jealous!

Lots and lots more media and fans...the fact that people can stand outside in the cold and watch guys do batting practice (bp) and pitching fielding practice (pfp's) and then wait for hours for autographs blows my mind. But they do it and they are devoted. I don't think I could do that for someone I didn't know. It's truly amazing how dedicated these fans are.

Other than that, Josh said the practice format was similar to that of minor league camp. He knows a lot of the guys and as far as I can tell feels comfortable. Not much phases Josh; he is Mr. Laid-Back of the century, so he just takes it all as it comes. A very valuable attitude in baseball.

So for now, that's the report from the front lines.

Love and hugs to all!
